Use it for reviews from your ai agent
Let your AI agent ask for a review
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or a coding agent once. When it has something to show, a pull request, a new page or a set of screens, it posts a Drop and sends you the link. You comment where you mean, and it reads every comment.
Connect an AI agentFree to start. You choose what it can do.
Agents are fast. Reviewing their work is slow
A coding agent can change a page in minutes. Seeing what it did takes longer: you pull the branch, run it, take screenshots, and type what’s wrong back into a chat with directions like “the card under the header”.
With DropComments the agent does the showing. It posts the screens or the page itself, you point at what to change, and it reads your comments as text, with where each one is. Everything it adds is marked as the agent’s, so you always know which words are yours.
How it works
- 1
Connect your agent
Add DropComments as an MCP server in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Claude Code and sign in, or make an API key for a script or CI. Either way you choose what it can do: post Drops, read comments, reply.
- 2
It posts a Drop
Screenshots, a PDF or an HTML page, with a note on what to look at. It sends you the link, in the chat or on the pull request.
- 3
You comment, it follows up
Pin notes where you mean them, as on any Drop. The agent reads them, makes the changes, replies to each one and adds the next version as a new screen.
Connect your agent
If your agent says it can’t reach DropComments, it isn’t connected yet. Pick the app it runs in. It takes about a minute, and you choose what it can do.
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
Name it DropComments and paste this as its URL:
https://dropcomments.com/mcpChoose Connect, sign in with Google, pick what Claude can do, and press Connect.
In a chat, turn on DropComments from the tools menu, then ask: “Post this to DropComments for review.”
Works in claude.ai and the desktop and phone apps. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds the connector for everyone first.
In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
Back in Apps & Connectors, choose Create, name it DropComments, choose OAuth, and paste this as its URL:
https://dropcomments.com/mcpSign in with Google, pick what ChatGPT can do, and press Connect.
In a chat, turn on DropComments from the tools menu, then ask it to post what it made.
Developer mode is on paid plans. The menus move from time to time; look for connectors in Settings.
Run this in your terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http dropcomments https://dropcomments.com/mcp
In Claude Code, run
/mcp, choose dropcomments, and sign in with Google in the browser that opens.Ask: “Post screenshots of the new page to DropComments for review.”
Add --scope user to have it in every project.
Run these in your terminal:
codex mcp add dropcomments --url https://dropcomments.com/mcp codex mcp login dropcomments
Sign in with Google in the browser that opens, pick what Codex can do, and press Connect.
Ask Codex to post what it changed to DropComments for review.
Open Cursor Settings → MCP and choose Add new MCP server, or add this to
~/.cursor/mcp.json:{ "mcpServers": { "dropcomments": {"url": "https://dropcomments.com/mcp"} } }When Cursor asks, sign in with Google and press Connect.
Ask the agent to post its screens to DropComments for review.
Add this to
.vscode/mcp.jsonin your project:{ "servers": { "dropcomments": {"type": "http", "url": "https://dropcomments.com/mcp"} } }Choose Start above the server, sign in with Google, and press Connect.
In Copilot’s agent mode, ask it to post its work to DropComments.
Make an API key: sign in, name the agent, tick what it can do. The key is shown once.
Keep it as a secret, such as
DROPCOMMENTS_KEYin GitHub Actions.Post a Drop, and give the link it returns to whoever reviews it:
curl https://dropcomments.com/api/agent/drops \ -H "Authorization: Bearer $DROPCOMMENTS_KEY" \ -F name="Pricing page · PR 42" \ -F file=@pricing.png # → {"link": "https://dropcomments.com/drop/…"}
The same key works as a bearer token at dropcomments.com/mcp, for an MCP app that can’t sign in.
Then just ask
- “Send this over to DropComments as HTML.”
- “Can you review the comments here?” with a Drop’s link
- “Reply to each comment with what you changed.”

MCP for AI apps
Add dropcomments.com/mcp to any app that speaks MCP and sign in with Google. There’s no key to copy.
API keys for scripts and CI
One key per agent, limited to what you tick, with a date it expires. Revoke it any time.
Always marked as the agent
Drops, comments and replies an agent adds show its name and an Agent tag, never yours.
Reads only where you allow
Keep an agent to the Drops it posts, to one Drop, or let it read any Drop you can open.
Questions
My agent says it can’t post to DropComments
It isn’t connected yet. Follow the steps for its app under Connect your agent, then ask again. Once connected, it can post an HTML page it made, like a Claude artifact, straight from the chat.
Which agents work with it?
Anything that speaks MCP, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Claude Code, and anything that can make a web request with a key, such as a GitHub Action or your own script.
Can an agent post as me?
No. An agent shows as itself, with the name you gave it and an Agent tag. The Drops it posts are yours to share, lock and delete.
What if a key leaks?
Revoke it from your account and it stops working at once. Keys also expire on the date you chose, and each can only do what you allowed.
